End of the year teacher gifts

I promised I would post the pictures of the kids teacher gifts this year. I ended up making a set of cards and a box that held them. I wanted to have ten cards for each, but I only had the time for eight. I made eight sets of them because I made four for my friend and I wanted one extra because they turned out so cute.

Those are absolutely darling. Lucky teachers. And, yeah, that is a lot of work there! But how wonderful for the teachers to get something made with love. My bus drivers always look forward to bussing the John family in our district. This is an LDS family in my ward whose "stampin" and very clever mom always surprises them with something special for Christmas and end-of- the-year gifts. Great job, Jess.

If you can believe it, I don't have a Cricut. I just can't justify it, though I really want one. I just made the box pattern by hand and then duplicated it. It didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned it, but then they rarely do. It still worked though. :)
